Our own Dr. Pat Shifferd, Prof Emeritus of Northland College, reminds us that one of the strengths of our Unitarian Universalist faith is that it encourages us to learn from many sources and traditions.
On Sunday February 22nd, Pat intends to share her personal views, reflecting on one of these sources which she very recently she found helpful in her own approach to UU’s 4th Principle: “A free and responsible search for truth and meaning.” Be with us as Pat shares the insights of “Stoic” philosophy, with focus on ways the ideas of Marcus Aurelius exemplify the “Seven Principles” honored at the Blue Hills UU Fellowship.

Everyone is welcome at our fellowship, with services at 10 a.m. Sunday mornings, 230 W. Messenger St. in Rice Lake and also on Zoom – link may be requested from mvanetten32@gmail.com.
