Civil rights will be the focus at Blue Hills Unitarian Universalist Fellowship on Sunday, February 15th.  as Pastor Dennis Peters will bring the congregation to consider “What it Meant, and What it Means Today.”

Peters recalls growing up in the era of the Civil Rights movement, as did many of us – “What happened to it? The Supreme Court, the hard work of Congress and President Johnson, not to mention the civil rights leaders, many of whom paid for it in their own precious blood… all worked to enact new laws, and to transform society.”  Have we entered a new era in this nation?  Will our beliefs and history stand strong?  Be with us on Sunday to share your vision.

Ch. Dennis and Lilly
