Blue Hills UU’s welcome guest speaker Joseph Barisonzi to the Rice Lake Fellowship on Sunday, August 16th.  Joe invites us to consider the unexpected question in “The Gospel According to Calvin and Hobbes.”

Through the timeless wisdom of Bill Watterson’s beloved characters, we’ll explore wonder, imagination, friendship, and what it means to truly see the world around us. Along the way, we’ll encounter philosophy, environmental ethics, Unitarian Universalist values and perhaps discover that there really is “treasure everywhere.” Whether Calvin and Hobbes shaped your childhood or you’ve never met the little boy and his tiger, all are welcome for this thoughtful, humorous, and deeply hopeful service.
