Chaplain Dennis Peters will host the morning at Blue Hills UU on Sunday, September 20, for a unique service, inquiring of members their concept of God.
As Unitarian Universalists, our Principles state that “A free and responsible search for truth and meaning” is open to each of us – however, being free to search for meaning in our own way, we may end up with significantly different concepts from each other.
Ch. Peters states that “Over the years you’ve heard my own story and the paths I’ve traveled to get to my own particular position, and I’ve heard a variety of other concepts, ranging from Jewish, Christian and Buddhist to atheist and agnostic. For those willing to share their religious or spiritual path, this Sunday morning will offer that opportunity.”
All are invited to attend services at the Blue Hills Unitarian Universalist Fellowship; we are an inclusive congregation where everyone is welcome to be with us each Sunday morning at 10 a.m., 230 W.
