10:30 FORUM: CONFLICT RESOLUTION

Colten will facilitate the forum by beginning with a Ted Talk titled “The Beauty of Conflict” which helps us question our perception and ideas about conflict.  A set of questions will follow to help us view conflict in a more positive light and build skills to proactively resolve conflict in our lives and in the world.

11:30 Coffee Hour

Coffee and snacks will follow the service. Join us for a delicious smorgasbord of good food and enlightening conversations.

10:30 SERVICE: Nukewatch

Nukewatch, established in 1979, is an anti-nuclear organization that calls attention to the dangers and politics of nuclear weapons and radioactive wastes.  John La Forge, founder of Nukewatch, will provide critical information on nuclear developments around the world. Questions are welcome!

10:30 SERVICE: THE MEANING OF LIFE

Mark will lead the service with lighting the chalice, reading the 7 UU principles, local announcements, speaking for social action, music and song, and his message and reflection about “The Meaning of Life”

11:30 POTLUCK

After service we will have our Third Sunday Pot Luck downstairs. Join us for a delicious smorgasbord of good food and enlightening conversations

ALL DAY EVENT IN MENOMONIE:

9:15 POTLUCK BREAKFAST

Feel free to bring a breakfast dish to pass for the potluck breakfast.

10:00 ANNUAL MEETING

We are having our brief annual meeting which includes electing the new yearly board, looking at the yearly budget for next year, etc.

11:00 SPRING CLEAN UP

We’ll have tasks listed–inside and outside–so bring your favorite rake, shovel, trimmer, work gloves
and, if you think of it, bring along a box or heavy bag to cart away items.

If you would like to plant some seedlings along the railing or in the lower garden, bring them along.

With many hands, the jobs will be taken care of easily and quickly!

9:15 FORUM: DANCING WITH WATER

Sondra will be leading the forum on a discussion about ‘Dancing With Water”; the new science of water and how incredible water is on a micro level.

10:30 SERVICE: THE GEOMETRY THAT SURROUNDS US

Nadine will be leading the service with reading the 7 UU principles, speaking for social action, local announcements, joys and concerns, music and song, and her message about how geometry makes the world go around in ways we may seldom consider.

9:15 TED TALK TIME: THE KEY TO MANIFESTATION

Join us in watching and discussing an eye-opening interview with Gregg Braden as he talks about the relationship between thoughts, emotions, feelings, and how they manifest into our realities.

Linda Tollefsrud will be leading the forum and discussion on the topic of immigration

Rev. Julie Lepp will join us from Eau Claire to lead the service with the reading of the 7 UU principles, joys and concerns, local announcements and speaking for social/environmental action, live music and singing from the UU hymnals, and her message on “The Peace of Wild Things”
