Blue Hills UU member Ken Hood will host the Sunday Service May 16,  bringing us the TED Talk Presentation by Brené Brown, “The Power of Vulnerability.”  Brown is a research professor at the University of Houston where she holds the Huffington Foundation “Brené Brown Endowed Chair” at the Graduate College of Social Work;  she is the author of five #1 New York Times bestsellers, the culmination of a seven-year study on courage and leadership.

Prof Brown has spent the past two decades studying courage, vulnerability, shame and empathy, and this 2010 TED Talk is said to be one of the most viewed episodes in the world.  Ken will lead the discussion with our fellowship, which is sure to follow the video presentation.
